At the Ashdod terminal, Gold Bond operates an advanced modern warehouse that is temperature-controlled and climate-controlled.
The warehouse has been approved following a punctilious validation process complying with Health Ministry Standard 126.
The controlled warehouse’s work procedures meet the requirements of Procedure 130 for good distribution practices (GDP) regarding pharmaceuticals and foods.
Climate control inside the warehouse is achieved by means of a computerized system for monitoring environmental conditions, which includes wireless sensors for temperature and humidity linked to an autonomous system that monitors the information continuously and sends alerts if necessary. The warehouse is operated by means of an advanced WMS computer system with EDI messaging connecting the client, the warehouse, and the recipient.
