Terminal for cargoes under customs control
The Gold Bond Group’s terminal for LCL cargoes under customs control is managed as part of the terminal services. The service is for importers who receive consolidated cargo.
The terminal’s operations include bringing the container from Ashdod Port or Haifa Port directly to the terminal whether via a rail spur located inside the terminal or by a fleet of trucks which the company operates day and night.
The container is unloaded, in accordance with the dispatch declaration, into the cargo warehouse. Cargoes are stored under supervision of customs until the cargoes are cleared and received by the client.
Cargo operations include inspections by customs and other authorities in coordination with the security and customs offices, scanning and weighing of cargoes at the terminal itself, and advanced logistical solutions to meet the client’s requirements.
The terminal is set up to handle unloading of tens of containers daily and to store their cargoes, including hazardous materials and non-standard cargoes.
